    Blogger: Write in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu

    Blogger is now offering the option to write in Indic characters, using the so-called Transliteration feature. A pretty amazing feature in fact, it simply works by typing the sound (in English characters) and you get the corresponding transcript.

    "Blogger offers an automatic transliteration option for converting Roman characters to the Indic characters used in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. This lets you type these languages phonetically in English script and still have them appear in their correct alphabet. Note that this is not the same as translation -- it is the sound of the words that are converted from one alphabet to the other, not their meaning . [...]"
