I was reading an interview to Malcom Gladwell (the author of books like Blink or The tipping point) on PM Network.
One of the analogies he used really caught my attention: the idea of Good Fouls and Bad Fouls.
Basically a Good Foul is a foul you commit when you are doing your job and being diligent. You may go a little to far, or not achieve the perfect movememnt in a certain occasion and commit the faul. This is not only fine, but also a healthy behavior. The Bad Foul is the one you commit because you were too lazy to do it right, or did not prepare correctly for the action when you knew it was coming, because you are simply not thinking. That's an inexcusable foul.
So you do make mistakes for sure. Are these good mistakes? Or dumb mistakes?
